Lecture
Studio 11, Athens School of Fine Arts (GR)
This lecture examines the perception of sound and image as material, situated within contemporary expanded media and generative practices. Drawing from recent works and ongoing research, Diamantides discusses how digital systems, error, and mediation shape embodied experience, with a focus on sound as a spatial and political agent. The session combines critical reflection with practice-based examples, addressing questions of perception, authorship, and presence in expanded media environments.
Exhibition
Regensburg Re.LIGHT Festival (DE)
TOPIA — a light and sound installation originally presented at the Städtische Galerie Leerer Beutel as part of Re.Light Regensburg — reconsiders the cinema screen as a sculptural, perceptual medium. Architectural surfaces dissolve into dynamic fields of light that open and close, generating shifting spatial atmospheres where light and sound engage the body and environment.
Ground Studies for Pilots – Bluets (live)
Nicosia Municipal Theatre (CY)
with Kristia Michael
A return to the Nicosia Municipal Theatre for a joint presentation of two ongoing works exploring the emotional poetics of colour and perception. Bluets traces shades of blue as emotion and frequency, while Ground Studies for Pilotsinvestigates spatial sound and embodied presence as new cartographies of attention.
Klanglicht Festival — Graz (AT)
TOPIA by Zalán Szakács
Sound composition — Pandelis Diamantides
Dom im Berg
A monumental light installation transforming the architectural surface of Dom im Berg into a kinetic wall of light. TOPIA reimagines the screen as a living medium where light, sound, and space merge into sensory architecture.
FX DIGITAL ART: International Digital Art Exhibition — Funchal, Madeira (PT)
Beautiful Is a Filter
Generative digital artwork presented as part of the 1st edition of FX DIGITAL ART, an international public-space exhibition featuring 25 artists from 13 countries. The work formed part of a city-wide digital-art circuit across Funchal, continuing Diamantides’ exploration of perception, digital mediation, and the fragile aesthetics of beauty in contemporary image culture.
Nicosia International Festival — Nicosia (CY)
Opening Electronic Music Party
Live visuals by Pandelis Diamantides accompanied Cypriot artists Jam Jam, Waverunner, and Alchemist. The piazza in front of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre transformed into an open-air dance floor for the festival’s opening night — a free public event celebrating local electronic culture through sound, movement, and light.
Shandη Βάνια (debut)
Hyper-pop + visual music performance — Fengaros Festival (CY)
A debut live performance immersing the audience in the experimental world of Shandη Βάνια. The work fused hyper-pop energy with Greek avant-garde lyricism, glitch aesthetics, and a visual narrative questioning identity and perception, redefining the performer–audience relationship through sound, light, and language.
Ground Studies for Pilots
Sound + expanded media performance — Eufònic Festival (ES)
An audiovisual performance presented at BotCamp, inspired by glitch art and the aesthetics of error, questioning digital culture’s fixation on filtered perfection. The work unfolds as a generative environment of sound and image, developed between Amsterdam, Athens, and Nicosia.
